Pull up a chair and say hello

Greetings to you all. My name is Deborah Vaughan and I am delighted to be part of this important place on the web.

Inclusively Yours Weddings was born because I know, as an officiant and person of the rainbow tribe, how it feels to see someone raise a hand and say "Over here! We’ve got your back!" Along with Jeanette Honig (also an officiant) and our writer extraordinaire, Jean, we want to make this a safe space of friendly people who cheer you on as you plan your wedding – whether you are part of the rainbow community or a valued ally. We also want to connect businesses and officiants to one another. We've been doing this a lot of years and we've heard stories of rejection, hurtful comments, attempts to convert... we know this has happened to everyone at some point in their lives. It isn't necessarily a glbtq thing; it's a human thing. We promote kindness and acceptance.

Lately, it seems like the world has gone a bit bonkers. Dark, even. It is easy to find ourselves fearful and worried. I see couples in the US wondering about their upcoming same-sex wedding. I see families looking at rising prices and thinking of ways to tighten the budget. Covid is ever-present. Most of Europe is over-heating. These things can weigh on us.

Well, this website can't cure all that - but we can certainly offer ways to assist. Over the coming weeks, we'll be adding interesting articles about weddings and elements of life.

You'll find businesses and services that will assist you with friendliness and respect.

And, if you head over to the facebook group, we can talk weddings, the things we celebrate, and the things that give us concern. Together we are stronger.
